College of Engineering – Department of Graphic Design

Positions Available for Fall 2008:

Dhofar University’s Department of Graphic Design seeks qualified applicants for the positions of Assistant Professor or Lecturer to begin Fall Semester, 2008:

1. One faculty member with a specialty in Motion Graphics, Video Production and/or Web Design
    
2. One faculty member with a specialty in Flat Graphics and Print Production
    
3. One faculty member with a specialty in Interior Architecture

M.A. or M.F.A. degree and a minimum of 3 years university level teaching experience is required. Applicants should be working artists with strong design skills, theoretical understanding, and an accomplished professional record.

Applicants should provide evidence of a broad range of teaching skills, including the ability to teach design at all levels of their specialty ranging from foundation studies to advanced courses.

1. Curriculum vitae
2. Portfolio
3. List of computer programs (expertise)
4. Samples of former students' work
