A meeting was held between the President of Dhofar University, Dr. Hassan Diab, and His Excellency, Dr. Ahmed bin Khalfan Al-Rawahi, the President of Nizwa University, Dr. Micheal Irving, the President of Sohar University and Dr. Abood Al-Sawafi, Vice President of Sohar University, at the Nizwa University office in Al-kowair. They discussed sharing work and scientific cooperation between their Universities. At the end of the meeting, a joint statement was issued emphasizing the importance of cultural and scientific cooperation between private universities in the Sultanate and improving cooperation in fields of scientific research and student training.
