Dhofar University Participates in the 10^th Annual Oman International ELT Conference

Dr. Khadernawaz Khan, Lecturer from the Foundation Program presented a paper at the 10^th Annual Oman International ELT Conference held by Sultan Qaboos University on 21^st and 22^nd April 2010. He presented a paper entitled, “In Defense of Nonnative English Speaker Teachers.” The paper presented the self perceptions of Nonnative English Speaking Teachers, learner perceptions of and attitude towards these teachers and also Administrators’ perceptions. He concluded that Nonnative English Speaking Teachers who are qualified and trained can deliver the language courses effectively.
