The Office of Student Affairs at DU represented by the Cultural and Theatrical Section organized a poetry recital on the occasion of the Poetry International Day. The event was under the patronage of Prof. Muhammed Faour, DU's Vice Chancellor. DU hosted three locally famous poets. Hanaa Saleem "Hwajes" a female poet started the event as a sign of the importance of the female poetic existence in the region. Hassan bin Ali Al Rawas and Said bin Mahdi Al Shasha'ai, famous local poets, continued reading their poems for an hour. They created a joyful atmosphere.
