Under the patronage of Mr. Salem bin Awadh Al-Najar, the Director of the Television Directorate in Salalah, DU Media Club in cooperation with Office of Information and Public Relations hosted Ibtihal Al-Zadgali a reporter at Oman TV Channel 2 to share her experiences in media field with the DU Media Club. This interview was attended by Prof. Mohammed Faour, DU Vice Chancellor, and number of local journalists, the club members, and Cultural Activities Supervisors at the Directorate of Education in Dhofar region. Ibtihal talked about her media journey that started in 1993 as introducer in several different programs for children in Ramadan and national competitions in addition to participating in the preparation and introducing children program “Alwan”. As for her prizes Ibtihal said: '' I had a prize of the best introducer of children programs from the festival of Radio and Television in Tunisia in 2001. This prize meant a lot to me especially in my young age. It encouraged me to go deeper in this filed as it took a lot of my time and attention”. She had some accomplishments such as the honour of representing Sultanate of Oman in different Gulf and International events.

Ibtihal talked a bout the DU Media Club and said: ''the idea of the club was brilliant, because this club and its activities will enrich the media knowledge of the students. I also noticed that the club's members were very enthusiastic; the thing will lead them to continue their way. All the club members agreed that this interview with Ibtihal benefited them and enriched them their experiences in their favourite field which is media.
