DU Starts Evening Classes next Semester at the CCBA

 

 

As another contribution in upgrading the skills of employees in various sectors of the society, Dhofar University will be giving evening classes to the financial sector employees at the College of Commerce and Business Administration which include the majors of Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems.  The tuition fee is 90 O.R per credit hour. This new program was announced at the Bankers’ gathering that was held on June 17th, 2009 for some of the banking sector employees. The purpose of this gathering was to discuss the sector needs that the University can address in order to improve the academic, practical experiences & qualifications. The courses start daily from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and aims at producing graduates with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand and function effectively in a business and/or government organization. And also to enable graduates to recognize, describe and apply the appropriate analytical, quantitative and organizational-behavioral approaches to decision making situations. Moreover; it aims at providing graduates with sufficient knowledge and skills in the various fields of specialization to succeed in business, government and/or graduate school.
