		DU Celebrates the Memory of Hijera The Preacher during the Presentation The Presentation Audience The Media Club of the Office of Information and Public Relations organized a presentation entitled “The Hijera of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and its lesson”. It was presented by Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Al Ansi Al Yafai, an Islamic Preacher in the Administration of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, at Ibn Rush Hall, attended by Prof. Muhammad Faour, DU Vice Chancellor, some of the university staff and students, and some employees of the Administration of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and The Sultan Qaboos Centre For Islamic Culture in the Governorate. The Sheikh started his presentation with thanking Allah and praising prophet Mohammed (PBUH), Then he started talking about Hejrah supporting his speech by evidences from the Holy Quran and Sunna. He talked about how Hejrah was a turning point in the history of Islam. “The most important lesson we learn from Hejrah is the brotherhood and equality between Muhajirin and Ansar . The other lessons are good preparation and planning, consultation and cooperation”. Thanking DU for hosting him and for trying to teach the students a bright image of the great biography of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), Sheikh Abdullah concluded his presentation.
