Dhofar University Signed
Microsoft School Agreement

Microsoft Company team

DU signed the Microsoft School Agreement with International Information Technology Co. LLC. (an OHI Group Company), the Microsoft Gold partner representative in Oman. "This software is licensed on a year-by-year basis with costs being calculated based on an annual count of the number of computers in the campus. There is no need for a ‘Software Assurance’ option, since upgrade rights are included by default, allowing us to run any version of the software they have licensed under the agreement. The Microsoft School Agreement can offer significant savings compared to Select Agreement Licensing, particularly for larger number of computers. The subscription license period is from May 19 2009 to May 31 2010, and it will be renewed each year", said Eng. Muhammad Dimachkieh, Computing and Networking Services Director at DU.
