DU Participates in the Second Forum for Statisticians

Dr. Mohammed Al-Fallooji represented Dhofar University in the Second Forum for Statisticians that was held for two days in Muscat and was organized by the Consultative Committee for Statistics. Dr. Al- Fallooji said that the Main objectives of the forum were to enhance relations among stakeholders in statistical work in Oman and offer opportunity to statisticians to address recurrent issues facing statistical work in Oman, exchange expertise, gain access to the latest developments in statistical applications, and discuss ways of supporting statistical work and sustaining its development..

As many as 300 participants representing different government agencies who deal with statistical analysis and IT in their wok, in addition to statistical experts, media people, business reporters and research officials in companies of the private sector have participated in the forum.
