Dhofar University participated in the Twelfth Annual
International Education Exhibition GHEDEX 2011 that took place
from May19 until May 21, 2011 in Oman International Exhibitions
Centre in Muscat, and was inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh
Nasser bin Hilal Al Mawaly, Chairman of the Financial and
Administrative Inspection Branch.
At the Exhibition, the University was represented by members
from the Office of Admission and Registration, the Office of
Information and Public Relations and the Centre of Continuing
Education.
The exhibition included five other exhibitions: training
exhibition (Trainxs), Job Fair (Jobfx), Edutech (Exhibition of
Information Technology), and (Skolex) (exhibition of private
schools).
This exhibition was sponsored by the Ministry of Higher
Education, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Manpower,
a number of public and private higher education institutions,
with the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the British Council.
GHEDEX 2011 provides a great opportunity for meeting with
university graduates and high school graduates, faculty and
representatives of universities and colleges in the Sultanate.
It is also a golden opportunity to meet with representatives of
universities and consultants in international higher education,
and consultants career development, and institutions of human
resources and the media.
