The Inauguration of the first activities of our Welfare for our People Club took place at Dhofar University under the title “Put it off and Live”

The first events of the charity club took place in the Conference Hall at DU under the title “Put it off and Live”, the purpose of which was to start a drive to end smoking.  The invitation was public and the event was attended by a large number of students.  An educational film on the dangers of smoking was shown, followed by speakers that included Dr. Nour Majdhoob, a physician at Salalah Military Hospital and Ms. Ameera Al Helou Specialist in Social Work at DU who spoke on the dangers of smoking from the medical and psychological perspectives.
