Prof. Mohammed Ali Faour ,Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, received Prof. Mohammed Sufian, the Dean of the College of Technology and Computer Sciences at Malaya University in Malaysia . The latter expressed his appreciation for accepting his invitation. The Professors reviewed aspects of cooperation between the universities in the domain of computers and informatics. This visit aimed at exchanging the expertise s in scientific and academic fields, said Prof. Sufian. the Malaysian Professor also met his counterpart Dr, Huassain Yaghi, the Dean of College of Arts and Applied Sciences, and discussed the college aims in computer science and informatics. Then he met Dr. Youseef Al-Iraqi, the Head of Computer Sciences Department at DU, and they exchanged the most important ideas of issues that may concern students in the mentioned specialization, the best methods of teaching, and using the most important techniques in the filed in order to improve the way of teaching and the academic means of technology. This was followed by a meeting with the senior students from the computer science specialization where the Malaysian Professor introduced the master programs in computer sciences filed at Malaya University .
