Concluding the drama activities at Dhofar University

Dr. Ahmed Samili Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Dhofar University attended with the guests of honor Artists Salah Obeid, Isa Ajzon and Mohammed Basheib the closing ceremony of the activities of the Department of Cultural and Theatre Activities at Dhofar University on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. The ceremony included a film on previous student activities that were held at the university in the past years during the cultural week. The late Omani Artist Adel Abdel Rab Alyafai was honored and Mr. Ahmad Maarouf Coordinator of the Cultural Activities in the Student Affairs Office presented a memorial plaque received by the Artist Muayyad Alyafai.  At the end of the ceremony, a comedy play called “My father is a Sheikh” written by Ayman Alyafai was presented and it was well liked by the audience.
