David in his Exhibition

"The Beauty of Nature" is an Art Exhibition for a lecture at Dhofar University
held in Hilton Hotel in Salalah of paintings by British artist David Leadbetter, a lecture at Dhofar University. David has lived locally in Salalah for a number of years and takes his inspiration from the natural beauty of the area. Using strong bold colours, David creates images that are bright and powerful while also being embedded in Omani culture. The image of the frankincense tree with the map of Oman in the centre is a perfect example of how this natural resource 'put Oman on the map' and is attracting significant interest across the area. David is a teacher at Dhofar University and the exhibition, is entitled "The Beauty of Nature",.
