U.S. Ambassador Visits Dhofar University

Acting Vice Chancellor of Dhofar University Dr. Hassan S. Kashoub received yesterday morning at his office His Excellency Dr. Richard J.. Ahmearer, United States Ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying Him as part of a visit by the U.S. Ambassador to the province of Dhofar.

The visit underscores the cultural cooperation between the United States of America and the Sultanate of Oman, and it dealt with matters of common concern along with the framework that would strengthen the relations between the U.S. Embassy in Muscat and Dhofar University. They agreed to initiate a number of joint projects related to the students, faculty and administration between the two parties. The Ambassador was given a tour of the new campus and introduced to its facilities
