University Council

The UC takes all action needed to assist the BoT, BoD, and VC of the university in performing their duties in service of the university mission and its goals. 

The UC is chaired by the VC, and composed of the following members:

• Deputy Vice Chancellors

• Assistants to the Vice Chancellor

• Deans of the Colleges

• One faculty member from each college (Selected by the VC for a renewable period of three years). 

As of 2009, the director of the Foundation Program joined as a member of the UC as per the decision of the Board of Trustees.
