The National Research Council (TRC)

The URB has been assigned by the Vice Chancellor and the University Council to promote The Research Electronic Submission System (TRESS) established by The Research Council (TRC) of Oman. The TRC was established by the royal decree to regulate, encourage, and support the research affairs in the country. The TRC has already announced its national research strategy and priorities based on the national and sectoral needs.

The URB has organized a workshop in April during which expects from the TRC explained the objectives and the mechanism for funds. Details about the TRC funding schemes are available on the TRC official website (www.trc.gov.om).
