Research Field: Thermal- Solar Energy
The College of Engineering research team is seeking a highly motivated
Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to research initiative in area of
thermal-solar energy aimed at development of solar energy research and
applications in Oman. The research project entitled “Parabolic Trough Solar
collector System for Water Desalination and Electrical Power Generation” is
sponsored by The Research Council of Oman (TRC). The applicant should have a
PhD in Mechanical Engineering and good research track record in the area of
thermal-solar energy. Some experience in FEA technique is an added
advantage.
Location: College of Engineering, Dhofar University, Salalah, Oman.
Salary:
commensurate with experience
Tenure:
annual contract (renewable up to 3 years)
