Roles & Responsibilities

  • Technical support by phone or email.
  • Receive technical support request forms and send them to the relevant technicians and then follow up until the task is completed.
  • Create a user account and password for academic, non-academic and student staff.
  • Deletion of the user account for the resigning staff and the graduate students and the transfer from the university.
  • Provision of a DUSIS account for students and staff.
  • Management of computer labs and classrooms.
  • Providing technical assistance to faculty members, staff and students.
  • Take care of maintenance of old and new devices.
  • Installation and processing of computers and software downloads.
  • Diagnose and solve problems with hardware \ software errors.
  • Provide a workshop for new students on how to access the domain (DUSIS) and how to use it.
  • Continue and update the university virus protection system.
  • Technical support during the testing periods and recording materials.
  • Periodic reports of the number of computers, printers and other devices in the university.
  • Technical support for information systems in the university library.
  • Any other duties requested by the Department Director.
