Final Grade
Policy
Final grades are reported in
multiples of 5.
It is expected that:
-
At least
60 percent of the total course grade should be allocated to
examinations, with a minimum weight of 30 percent assigned to
the final exam with emphasis on practical work and projects for
the remaining percentage. Any grading scenario that does
not meet this policy should be cleared with the dean early in
the semester.
-
A certain
portion of the final grade will be assigned for attendance and
class participation among other possible course
requirement (e.g., term paper, project, homework, etc.)
