Mr Salem Akkak, Director of Students Affairs Department at DU, confirmed that this participation aimed to disseminate mental health behaviours and practices among students and the local community. Mr Akkak highlighted the need to prevent the abuse of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and to receive post-recovery psychotherapeutic treatment. This requires exerting joint efforts on the individual level and community level. On the one hand, individuals need to develop their self-awareness and strategies to deal with stress and life pressures.
