This talk translates Dhofar University\u2019s efforts to raise awareness of current issues and highlight the importance of human rights in the digital age. In his talk, Mr. Al Masrori addressed the growing effects of artificial intelligence on the rights of individuals and communities. He also highlighted the remarkable challenges the world is facing as a result of the unprecedented reliance on these technologies, including privacy issues, justice, combating discrimination, and ensuring transparency and accountability in the use of artificial intelligence. Mr. Al Masrori argued that, despite its ability to improve quality of life, AI may carry risks if it is not developed and used within defined ethical and responsible constraints.
