P. 21
Small, uncertain single loop,
Nameless thoughts caught in a hoop.
With every stitch it rhymes;
Push through your hardest times,
Yarn over, trust something new,
Pull through, to the other side view.
Control even the mistakes
For it to be in perfect shapes.
As the sky changes hue,
Yellow, orange to purple view,
Through your fingers, holding memories
Each row feels like moments in movies
A conversation, a song, a thought,
Or a person in mind I fought.
By the end it’s warmth
Mental, physical, affectionate warmth
Handing hours of your life
After being in a strife
Stitched together with care it says:
I stayed, I worked, I thought of you.
