Lamp and Candle

                           by Moneera Saif Al-Kalbaniya

                           I am a lamp,

You see me in different colors.

                           You see me every day,

                           When you study and cook,

                           When you eat and drink.

Without me your life is bad.

                           You must have me,

No one can do my job.

                           Sorry, lamp

                           I am a candle,

                           I can do your job,

And I am cheaper than you.

                           You cannot work without electricity,

                           But I can.

So, please, my dear, take me,

                           And forget the lamp.
