                                                                       the start of the 2020/2021 academic
                                                                      year. As classes continued online, the
                                                                        portfolio material was transferred
                                                                      online to focus on key OAS elements.
                                                                        The Muraje'a Centre has also been
                                                                       moved online, where it continues to
                                                                        serve FP students. The goal of the
                                                                       Muraje'a Centre is to ensure that no
                                                                       student is left behind in the online
                 MATH                                                            learning process.





          The restructuring process for all levels
          has been completed and the new study
          plans for the current academic year are
         being used. To develop and enhance the
           curriculum, the FP administration has
         confirmed their partnership with Pearson
         Education. Pearson’s LMS, called MyLab
          Math and Mastering, is being rolled out
           this term for all new students. Also, a
          webinar titled, “Math Online Teaching,

         Learning and Assessment: Challenges and
          Solutions,” is planned for February 25.




                                                                      The IT department has also benefited
                                                                     from the FP’s partnership with Pearson
                                                                     Education. IT students now have access
                                                                         to Pearson’s IT LMS MyLab and
                                                                     Mastering. Through this new platform,
                                                                       students receive trusted content and
                                                                     resources through an expansive course
                                                                         materials library. New pre-built
                                                                         learning modules guide students
                                                                          through an authentic learning
                                                                        experience that builds skills-based
                                                                        competency while also developing
                                                                              critical thinking skills.
