  Divulgence of confidential information known to the staff by virtue of
                              his/her position;
                            Exploitation of his/her position to gain favors for self and/or others;

                            Acceptance of any gift from an individual or party if that would impact
                              his/her work;

                            Spreading  rumors  that  could  damage  the  University  interests,  public
                              interests or the interests of others;
                            Interruption of work without an authorized leave of absence.

               Any violation of University rules and regulations and/or the laws of the Sultanate may
               be subject to disciplinary measures commensurate with such violations.

               4.8. Smoking Policy

               Smoking inside all buildings on campus is prohibited. Any student or staff member who
               violates this policy shall be subjected to appropriate disciplinary action, in accordance
               with University rules and regulations.
