A Strategic Milestone for the College of Medicine
The College of Medicine at Dhofar University continues to reinforce its commitment
to modern, student-centered medical education through the rapid development
of its Dry Anatomy Laboratory and the integration of advanced digital learning
technologies. The laboratory now serves as a dynamic teaching environment
equipped with high-fidelity plastinated specimens, three-dimensional anatomical
models, and the Anatomage Table—an interactive digital dissection platform
that allows learners to explore human anatomy with precision and clarity. These
tools are complemented by the introduction of virtual reality–based instructional
modules that provide immersive simulations, support self-directed learning, and
enhance students’ spatial understanding of complex anatomical structures.
