Publications
In the academic year 2024–2025, Dhofar University strengthened its
national and international research standing, producing approximately 558
publications across Scopus, Web of Science, peer-reviewed journals, and
DU-approved Arabic journals, with an average of 2.6 papers per faculty
member. The University achieved a Field-Weighted Citation Impact of 1.57,
with 23% of its publications (2020–2025) ranked among the world’s top
10% most cited. DU’s publications demonstrated strong alignment with
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in
health, education, sustainability, and environment.
