Takes Part in the 2025 Injaz

Oman Student Startups

The student startup “Manara,” representing the
Entrepreneurship Center at Dhofar University,
participated in the 2025 Injaz Oman Student Business
Startups as part of the company’s program and
competition. The exhibition was held at the Oman
Convention and Exhibition Center in Muscat from March
13 to 15.

“Manara” is an innovative artificial intelligence platform
founded by six students from different majors at the
College of Engineering. It aims to assist small- and
medium-sized enterprise owners in Oman by assessing
the feasibility of business ideas and ensuring regulatory
compliance using reliable data and advanced analysis.

It is worth noting that “Manara” was the only student
company to qualify for the show among seven student
companies, reflecting its excellence and creativity
in entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneurship Center
and the College of Engineering supported Manara’s
participation in the show. The exhibition offered a unique
opportunity for visitors to explore the services and
products provided by student companies from various
educational institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. This
experience develops youth skills in innovation and
leadership, equipping them to confidently enter the job
market.
