Dhofar University and Nizwa Hospital Strengthen Partnership to Advance Clinical Training and Educational Development

A delegation from the College of Medicine at Dhofar University lead by Dean Al Saadoon successfully completed an official visit to Nizwa Hospital, where a productive meeting were held with the hospital’s senior management and technical team.

The visit focused on strengthening collaboration between the two institutions and advancing preparations for the clinical training of Dhofar University medical students at Nizwa Hospital. Discussions addressed the necessary arrangements to ensure a high-quality clinical learning environment that will support students in developing the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for future medical practice.

The delegation and hospital representatives also reviewed plans for the construction of dedicated facilities to support the educational mission of the College of Medicine. These plans include the development of an Academic Support Building and student accommodation facilities, which are intended to enhance the overall learning experience and provide an appropriate environment for students undertaking their clinical training.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a strong and sustainable partnership that contributes to excellence in medical education, clinical training, and healthcare service development.
