
Dhofar University Strengthens International Ties Through Erasmus+ Program in Italy
In a significant step toward enhancing global academic collaboration, Dhofar University has expanded its international partnerships through the prestigious Erasmus+ student exchange program. Musallam Bakhit Hassan Tabook, a Business Administration major from the College of Commerce and Business Administration, completed a full semester at the University of Genoa in Italy from February to June 2025. He is the first Dhofar University student to receive a scholarship under the Erasmus+ program.
This milestone reflects Dhofar University’s strategic commitment to fostering international academic cooperation and offering students transformative global experiences. Commenting on his time abroad, Musallam shared:
“This scholarship marked a turning point in my academic and professional journey. Studying in an international academic environment broadened both my cultural and professional horizons.”The achievement not only enhances the University’s global standing but also underscores the quality of its educational programs and its capacity to compete on the international stage. It is expected to open doors for further academic partnerships with European institutions.
