The Center for Student Counseling (CSC) started its activities for 2025/2026 academic year with an awareness lecture for students presented by Dr. Mosleh Musallam Al-Majali, Associate Professor of Psychological Counseling in the Department of Education at the College of Arts and Applied Sciences, entitled “How to Achieve Balance, Adaptation, and Stability in University Life.” The lecture was held on Monday, September 29, 2025. Given the importance of the topic in achieving psychological well-being for students, especially new students, Dr. Mosleh addressed several key topics, most notably: the concept of balance and how to achieve it; the importance of adaptation in the life of a university student; and the skills required to achieve it, leading to integration and stability within the university environment. The lecture focused on providing practical tools and psychological strategies to help students make a smooth transition from school to university. He pointed out common challenges such as study pressure, time management, and feelings of isolation, and how to overcome them. He emphasized the importance of establishing university stability as a result of balancing academic, personal, and social dimensions, and prioritizing and balancing them in a way that achieves students’ goals and places them in a good level of psychological compatibility. The audience demonstrated broad interaction and fruitful discussion during the lecture, reflecting the importance of the topic and its role in guiding students and providing them with the skills they need in the early stages of university.
