Dhofar University Vice Chancellor Welcomes Commandant of Sultan Qaboos Military College

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, received Colonel Salim bin Musallam bin Suhail Jaaboub, Commandant of the Sultan Qaboos Military College at the Royal Army of Oman Academy, during a meeting held at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation and integration between academic and military institutions in the Sultanate of Oman.

Discussions focused on the role of Dhofar University, its colleges, and academic and research programmes, alongside an overview of the history, strategic objectives, and achievements of the Sultan Qaboos Military College in training and qualifying national talent. Both sides explored opportunities for joint initiatives and partnerships that support national development and reinforce institutional collaboration.

Following the meeting, Professor Al Rawas accompanied Colonel Jaboub on a tour of the University Campus. The visit included the College of Medicine, where the Commandant was briefed on its modern facilities, academic offerings, and ongoing efforts to prepare highly qualified medical professionals.
