College of Medicine New Students Orientation Programme

Dhofar University’s College of Medicine held an orientation program on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to welcome new students and prepare them for their academic journey in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. The event, attended by Prof. Mona Al Sadoon, Dean of the College of Medicine, introduced students to the MD curriculum, stages of study, professional ethics, academic integrity, and effective learning methods. It featured welcoming remarks by the Dean, sessions on medical ethics and integrity, an overview of the degree plan, and guidance on study strategies, followed by an open discussion with senior medical students who shared their experiences and answered questions. The programme reflects the College’s commitment to fostering a supportive academic environment and ensuring that students are well‑prepared for the demands of their studies and future professional careers.
