Dhofar University College of Engineering Welcomes New Students, Highlights Academic Integrity

In a welcoming atmosphere, the College of Engineering at Dhofar University organized an orientation day for new students, attended by a number of faculty members and current students, as part of efforts to prepare students to begin their academic journey.

The program included an introduction to the College, its academic programs, and the University environment, along with a speech by Dr. Ali Shehadeh, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering, which addressed aspects of university life and the requirements for academic success.

Dr. Muhammad Wasi, Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering, also delivered a speech in which he emphasized academic integrity as a fundamental pillar of the educational journey, the importance of adhering to university regulations and policies, and the need to demonstrate responsibility and academic integrity in all aspects of academic life.

This session is part of the College of Engineering’s efforts to raise new students’ awareness of academic values and to instill responsible practices that contribute to building a learning environment based on trust, commitment, and excellence.
