Dhofar University Welcomes Cultural Advisor of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy

On September 27, Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, welcomed at his office Her Excellency Rana bint Fahd Mohammed, Cultural Advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting included an introduction to the university and its academic programs, as well as a screening of a documentary film highlighting the university’s history and achievements, in the presence of Professor Muna Al Saadoon, Dean of the College of Medicine. The program included a field tour that covered the College of Medicine and a briefing about its curricula and modern teaching methods, as well as the College of Engineering’s laboratories to examine the advanced technical equipment. Additionally, the delegation visited the university’s Research Center, where Professor Luay Rashan provided a comprehensive overview of the Center, its research roles, and its scientific contributions. It is worth mentioning that this visit is part of efforts to strengthen prospects for joint academic and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
