Arizona University Alumni Association in Salalah Explores Strengthening Ties with Dhofar University

Salalah — On September 4, 2025, Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, welcomed a delegation from the University of Arizona at his office. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the University of Arizona Alumni Gathering for students and graduates from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, hosted in Salalah on September 5–6, under the patronage of His Highness Marwan bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Governor of Dhofar.

During the meeting, both parties discussed avenues for academic and research collaboration between Dhofar University and University of Arizona. The discussion focused on enhancing the exchange of scientific and practical expertise and exploring new opportunities for future partnerships in the higher education sector.
