Dhofar University Bids Farewell to Erasmus+ Exchange Students

Salalah – On September 3, Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, met with students selected to participate in the Fall 2025 Erasmus+ student exchange program. The meeting took place in his office, with Dr. Hisham Abdulmajeed, Director of the International Cooperation Office, also in attendance.

Five students from various Colleges were accepted into the prestigious program, representing the following colleges, and majors:

  • Belgium–Faculty of Arts and Applied Sciences: Ali Saeed Sabbah Baoqaba and Ziyad Abdullah Ahmed Al Mahri (majoring in Education – English Language).
  • Czech Republic–Faculty of Engineering: Amin Ahmed Ali Al Maashani (Electrical and Electronic Engineering).
  • Czech Republic–Faculty of Commerce: Al Mundhir Sami Farah Al Rawas (Finance).
  • Italy–Faculty of Commerce: Mazen Mohammed Nawaz Ghulam Al Balushi (Logistics).

During the meeting, Prof. Al Rawas welcomed the students and reassured them of their readiness to undergo the international academic experience, commending their academic efforts and excellence, and stressing the importance of representing Dhofar University and the Sultanate of Oman in the best way at the international level. He further stressed that student exchange programs enhance the scientific and cultural experiences of students and provide an opportunity to represent their identity and their university in this international academic experience.
