Dhofar University Board of Directors Meets

Chaired by Sheikh Tariq bin Salim Al Maashani, Chairman of Dhofar University Board of Directors, and attended by Board members, the Board held seventh and eighth meetings for the 2025-2026 Academic Year on Monday and Tuesday in Muscat.

Key items were discussed including the follow-up of the progress of academic and administrative progress, as well as the discussion of a series of development initiatives designed to enhance educational quality and advance the University’s strategic objectives.

Board members also explored measures to strengthen institutional performance and develop academic programmes in line with future requirements, ensuring alignment with evolving trends in higher education both locally and internationally.

During the meeting, the Board examined several agenda items and took appropriate decisions in relation to that to support the University’s ongoing growth, reinforce its academic reputation, and advance its aspirations for excellence and leadership within the higher education sector.
