Dhofar University Intensifies Preparations for College of Medicine

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, hosted a productive meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Sultan Qaboos University on April 28, 2025. The meeting marked a significant step in the final preparations for Dhofar University’s launch of the College of Medicine. Welcoming the guests the VC emphasized the pivotal role the new college would play in strengthening the health sector in the Dhofar Governorate. The meeting focused on the readiness of the infrastructure and academic programs, underscoring the University’s commitment to excellence. The visit also included a tour of the new College building, its foundational curricula, and a guided field tour of key facilities such as laboratories, classrooms, and the future site of the College.
