Dhofar University Ranked Among Top 1000 Universities Globally in QS World University Rankings 2026

Dhofar University has been listed for the first time in the prestigious QS World University Rankings for 2026, in a significant step towards academic and institutional excellence. Ranked in the 851-900 band, the University now has secured its place among the world’s top 1,000 universities.

This achievement marks a major milestone in Dhofar University’s academic journey. Out of more than 8,400 institutions who participated, only 1,501 universities met the rigorous criteria required for inclusion, underscoring the strength of Dhofar University’s academic and research performance.

The University’s inclusion in the QS World University Rankings is the outcome of sustained institutional efforts across its colleges and administrative units, guided by a forward-looking strategic vision.
