Dhofar University Vice Chancellor Received His Excellency Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Regulation

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, received in his office His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salem bin Saif Al-Mandhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Regulation, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the Dhofar Governorate on September 28.

The meeting discussed prospects for joint academic and training cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Health, particularly the ongoing support for field training programs for students at the Dhofar University College of Medicine, which are based on the long-term strategic partnership between the two parties aimed at qualifying national medical personnel. The two sides also explored ways to foster joint initiatives and scientific research that contribute to strengthening the health system and raising community awareness in the Sultanate.

For his part, Dhofar University Vice Chancellor commended the Ministry of Health and its hospitals for their tireless efforts and ongoing support in ensuring an integrated educational and training environment for the university’s students.
