Exploring Salalah's Future: Dhofar University Engages with Ministry of Housing and International Consultancy Firms

Dhofar University’s College of Engineering recently welcomed distinguished guests, including representatives from the Ministry of Housing, the renowned global planning and design consultancy firm Sasaki, and the expert Engineering, Planning, and Infrastructure consultancy firm Cundall. The purpose of their visit was to showcase and engage with local stakeholders regarding three distinct masterplan proposals for the Salalah waterfront and development plans for the greater Salalah area.

During the visit, the guests presented their proposals, engaging in fruitful discussions and actively seeking feedback from Dhofar University’s faculty and students. This collaborative exchange enabled the visitors to receive valuable insights, address questions, and take note of the feedback provided by the university community.
