Scholarships Department at (MOHERI) visits Dhofar University

In a meeting with a delegation from the Scholarships Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation on 01 October 2023, Dr. Tariq Al-Husari, Dean of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Ms. Salama Al-Maashani, Director of the Admissions and Registration Department and the Head of the Scholarships Unit, discussed the criteria and procedures of awarding scholarships to students throughout their academic career. MOHERI delegation comprised Ms. Sarah bint Mal Allah Al-Qassab, Acting Assistant Director of the Internal Scholarship Department, Badriya bint Khamis Al Yahmidiyya, Head of the Scholarship Affairs Department, and Ms. Zuwaina bint Saeed Al Ghafriya, Scholarship Affairs researcher.The visit reflects MOHERI’s keenness on raising awareness among fresh undergraduate students nationwide about the importance of scholarship. This was highlighted by the workshop conducted by MOHERI delegation during their meeting with fresh students admitted to Dhofar University for the academic year 2023-24.

The delegation also met with Mr. Mukhtar al Nubi, who is in charge of the Scholarships Unit and Mr. Azad Saeed, Scholarships Assistant and discussed the criteria for awarding and managing scholarships.
