Strengthening Institutional Partnerships to Support Education and Development

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, received a delegation from Sohar International Bank to explore prospects for cooperation and reinforce the partnership between the two institutions, to support the educational process and address the evolving needs of the labour market.

The delegation included:

Badr Al Jahwari – President of Sohar International Academy
Ibrahim Al Alawi – Head of the Dhofar and Central Branches Network
Mohammed Al Balushi – Director of Banking
Musallam Jadad – Director of Relations

Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in vocational training and qualifications, the exchange of expertise, and initiatives to prepare qualified national cadres capable of keeping pace with developments in the banking sector.

This meeting reflects the University’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with leading institutions, thereby enhancing the quality of its educational outcomes and contributing to the broader development process in the Sultanate.
