The closing ceremony of the activities, events and training programs of the Student Counseling Center for the academic year 2022/2023

Under the auspices of Dr. Sayed Ehsan Jamil, Deputy Vice Chancellor of DU, the Student Counseling Center at the university celebrated the closing of the activities, events and programs of the center for the academic year 2022/2023, in the presence of the deans of the colleges, the dean of admissions, registration and student affairs, directors of departments and centers at the university, and a group of members of the academic and non-academic staff in addition to the students honored by the center. The ceremony began with the Omani Royal Anthem, followed by reading some of the verses of the Holy Quran. Then, Prof. Dr. Nasser Said Abdelrasheed, Director of the Center, gave a detailed presentation about the Student Counseling Center, starting with its message and vision, and the services provided by the Center to the university’s students and employees, workshops, events, and activities that the center held during the academic year 2022/2023, in addition to the training programs presented to local community institutions that have been cooperated with the center, and presented statistics on the number of beneficiaries of the center’s services among the university’s students and employees during the two semesters, and the center’s director presented the most important goals to be achieved during the next year.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Syed Ehsan Jamil, Deputy Vice Chancellor of DU, accompanied by the Director of the Center, honored all the directories and individuals cooperating with the Student Counseling Center, in addition to honoring the staff of the Center and thanking them for all the efforts that they made during the year. In conclusion, the Director of the Center presented a memorial shield to Dr. Syed Ehsan Jamil, Deputy Vice Chancellor of DU, the auspices of the ceremony, and souvenir photos were taken for the members of the center with the auspices of the ceremony
