Dhofar University Welcomes Exchange Student from University of Bergen, Norway
Dhofar University is proud to announce the arrival of an exchange student from the University of Bergen, Norway, as part of its ongoing commitment to international academic exchange and collaboration.
The student received a warm welcome by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer Al Rawas, the Dean of College of Arts and Applied Sciences, Dr. Khalid Almashiki and the International Cooperation Office.
Idun Fjeld, a postgraduate student from the University of Bergen, has chosen Dhofar University for her traineeship under the supervision of Dr. Reem Abuyaida. During her stay, she will be working closely with the Social Sciences Department at the College of Arts and Applied Sciences from January until June 2024.
This exchange is part of Dhofar University’s initiative to enhance its global academic partnerships and provide students with international exposure and experiences. The University of Bergen, known for its strong academic programs and research initiatives, is an ideal partner in this endeavor.
